The hotel served as a clean and comfortable haven while evacuating from Wilmington, NC due to HURRICANE FLORENCE. The rooms, though needing a deep cleaning and fresh paint, were overall reasonably well-kept. The service was mixed, with some friendly encounters but lacking helpfulness at times. The location, while close to the Amtrak Station, felt cramped and inconvenient. The dining experience was decent, except for the early closure of breakfast on weekends. However, the value for money was satisfactory overall.

The hotel was a cozy refuge during the hurricane evacuation, offering big, comfy beds and a quiet atmosphere despite the busy car park. The rooms were clean, but some issues like peeling paint and mold on the ceiling were noticeable. The staff were a standout, friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
